Hard work never gets waste“, whenever you are determined towards achieving your goal, nobody can stop you from reaching your destination. Ranchi always have been famous for its arts, culture and beauty, but some of its citizens also prove that is has abundance of great human resources too. Starting from Mahendra Singh Dhoni to Ranjit Srivastava, and many other countless personalities prove that they are also worth remembering when we talk about Ranchi. On Friday 5th April, when everyone was busy watching IPL, there were some people who were waiting for their UPSC results to come and were hoping for passing the exam with flying colors. They were waiting for their dreams to come true, and the moment came for which everyone was waiting.

Deepak was born in Ranchi, his father worked as a senior auditor in AG Office Ranchi. He completed his matriculation from Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Dhurwa and did his intermediate from JVM Shyamali Ranchi. He wanted to become an engineer and so he joined IIT Kharagpur and completed his B.Tech in computer science engineering. Then he went to IIM Bangalore for completing his masters. After completing his masters, he started working in the private sector. Although he joined the job but he always remembered his goal.

In civil services examination 2016, in his third attempt he bagged 492 Rank and cracked the exam three years ago, but his dream was to become an IAS Officer which was impossible with the rank he has got. But he joined IRTS (Indian Rail Traffic Service) and took one year leave and started studying for 12 hours daily. “Where there is a will, there is a way” and ultimately his hard work and perseverance helped him to achieve his goal, and fulfill his dream which he always dreamt of.He doesn’t cracked the exam in the very first attempt, but it took him five attempts to reach his destination.

Deepak is an inspiration for the people who take wrong steps instead of accepting their failure and working hard on it. There are many legends who failed many times but never left trying. If Edison had left trying we would have been living without the bulb, if wright brothers accepted their failure and never tried hard, we would not be enjoying journey on planes. So it’s always better to keep trying and accepting your failures.

We wish him all the best in his future endeavors !!
