1. Mithilesh Kumar
Mithilesh Kumar who works as a deputy manager in a government-owned, Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC) likes to be known as a hobbyist and a self-taught photographer. Though he is into model photography, many of the model enthusiasts youngsters from our small town got their portfolio created by Kumar including Manmeet who recently caught shooting with Katrina Kaif is also appearing in TV commercials of reputed brands in Mumbai.
“It was the year 2009 when I was on a personal trip to Shimla (Kullu-Manali) when I admired nature and realized that nature is the only medium that can provide me with a great sense of pleasure and satisfaction to my soul”, Mithilesh shares his experience.” As far as awards and appreciation are concerned, he has won many awards in photo competitions and photo contests. 2. Nayan Shaurya
Nayan Shaurya, a former fine art photographer at MTV unplugged worked for many national and popular firms has finally made up his mind to settle down in Ranchi. Interestingly, He has followers across the globe and also got published his first photo magazine, “The Pictogram” which achieved huge media coverage and love and support from Bollywood celebrity Anupam Kher. 3. Niraj Sinha
Niraj Sinha who ditched his government job to pursue his pictorial love believes, photography is not a profession but it is done to satisfy one’s inner self. Niraj shares, “I love photography as an integral part of my existence so I hardly care about any award.” When asked about his achievements, the passionate photographer opines, “More than 15 pictures of mine were selected by public relations department of Jharkhand government including cover photo of souvenir which was published in the 15th national games held in Ranchi”. 4. Manish Singh
Manish Singh, the owner and founder of Wedding Bells and Fashion Studio in Ranchi has covered many page 3 parties in Delhi and also worked for one of the popular Delhi based magazine. Started his career with street photography, this Ranchi boy has explored almost every street of Delhi. Manish says, “Dilli ki shayad hi koi gali hogi jaha maine photography nai ki ho”.

6. Pranjal Kumar
Artist by profession, Pranjal who has huge contribution in making Ranchi more beautiful says, Foreigners identify india by Taj Mahal but they are unaware of the fact India’s real beauty also lies in the state like Jharkhand. When team RB asked about his achievements, the creative young chap says that some of his friends and colleague shifted to Ranchi after seeing his photographs of Ranchi.
Pranjal loves to support needy people. Recently, he made a free portfolio of Bhavna Chandrashekhar, a lower middle class family who is now successfully working in one of the daily soaps. 7. Kundan Kay
A student turned full time photographer, Kundan Kay from lohardaga (a place near Ranchi) who resides in Ranchi has got selected his pictures many times in World Photography club where he has also achieved scholarship for various photography courses Kundan has completed successfully. With many other amazing pictures clicked, Lohardaga’s Chatti Pahar has earned maximum name and praised by people.
Working on various projects, Kundan is also trying his hand in high quality nagpuri song shooting in the outskirts of the city . “Initially I didn’t get support from my family to pursue my interest but now I have started travelling for better photographs and I like wide angle landscape the most”, says Kundan.
