1. Jonha Falls

Situated at an edge of the Ranchi plateau, the Jonha Falls is an example of a hanging valley falls. Jonha is about 40 km. away from Ranchi . The road leading to Jonha is a bit narrow but so adventuerus as well as and arduous as that of Hundru. There is also a hospice Tourists rest house which accommodates Lord Gautam Budha’s temple. This falls is named after Gautam as Gautamdhara too, it is approachable by road. The tourists can go upto Gautamdhara station by train also.

2. Dasham Falls

The Dassam Falls is a natural cascade across the Kanchi River, a tributary of the Subarnarekha River. The water falls from a height of 44 metres (144 ft). About 40 km. away from Ranchi on Tata Road falls a village named Taimara near which flows the Kanchi river, Falling from a height of about 144 feet Kanchi river makes a pretty fall called Dassam falls known as Dassam Ghagh also encircled with charming scences. The tourists are warned not to take bath in the falls or at least be careful while bathing in the stream.

3. Pahadi Mandir

The Pahadi Mandir is located near the Ratu Road of the popular city of Ranchi in Jharkhand. Its on top of a huge mountain and you have to climb about 200 steps to reach to lord Shiv’s Mandir. It is situated at an altitude of 2140 feet from the sea level.

Also, The largest Indian national flag on the tallest mast was hoisted here by Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar in presence of Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das and other leaders. The earliest tallest flag pole was in Faridabad.

4. Birsa Jaivik Udyan

Birsa Biological Park, Ranchi is one of the most beautiful zoos in India, located in the lap of a beautiful natural surrounding. Unlike most of the zoos, it covers over 104 ha. of mildly undulating topography with natural dry deciduous forest, in and around water bodies and other natural features that provide the wild animals natural habitat to live in harmony with the nature. It is situated on the Ranchi-Ramgarh section of National Highway 33, about 20 kms from Ranchi & in the vicinity of Chakla village, Block-Ormanjhi, Dist-Ranchi, Jharkhand. Around 4 lakh visitors visit the zoo every year.

5. Rock Garden

About 4 km. from G.P.O., Ranchi on Kanke Road, just in front of the CMPDIL Hq. Is situated the Gonda Hill with a water reservoir at its top. At the foot of the hill is a big lake known as Kanke Dam and a lucrative place for tourists.
